The cattle at Paley are a pedigree Sussex herd. They graze the farm’s pastures, herbal leys and hedgerows for up to eight months of the year, creating some of the tastiest, most nutritious and sustainably farmed beef you can buy. Our 100% grass-fed beef is hung on the bone for at least 28 days to develop a deep, rich flavour and is certified Pasture for Life.
Paley’s 100% grass-fed lamb and mutton is among the tastiest, most nutritious and sustainably farmed meat you can buy. Our EasyCare and rare-breed Dorset Down flocks live outdoors all year round, grazing on the pastures, herbs and grasses of our farm in the heart of the Kent countryside. All our lamb is certified Pasture for Life.

Paley’s Saddleback & Welsh sows and Tamworth boars spend their days rooting, foraging and grazing outdoors in their paddocks. This cross results in distinctive, richly flavoured pork with great texture. Our pigs are bred to the highest welfare standards and grow slowly at their own pace, with plenty of space to explore the different landscapes of the farm, be sociable and wallow in the mud on sunny days.
Sutton Hoo chickens are lovingly reared across 40 acres of meadows. Sutton Hoo rear their chicken slowly, to the highest welfare standards and use traditional free range farming methods, to give you a chicken like it used to taste. Their mission is to rear a truly free range chicken with constant access to the outdoors, sunshine and plenty of room to roam on natural grassland. We believe that chickens should be slowly grown to maturity, giving the meat that succulent flavour and perfect texture. Sutton Hoo chicken is special and you can truly taste the difference.
Our venison is provided by the wild herds of fallow and roe deer that travel around the farm and all our rabbit is 100% wild and sourced from the farm. These wild, lean meats, produced from a diet of permanent pasture, herbal grasses, orchards, hedgerows and woodlands, are fantastically nutritious and full of flavour, and deserves to be the centrepiece of any meal.
Our honey is harvested from the hives located around the farm. Our bees have been visiting flowers within three miles of the farm to create honey that is packed with flavour.
